The short version

gainzy does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Your workout data lives on your device. We never see it.

Data storage

All data — workouts, exercises, templates, body measurements — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. No data is sent to any server we operate.

iCloud backup

If you enable iCloud backup in your iOS Settings, your gainzy data may be included in your personal iCloud backup. This data is stored in your own Apple account and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to it.

HealthKit

gainzy can write completed workouts to Apple Health with your explicit permission. This data remains on your device and is subject to Apple's privacy controls. gainzy never reads health data — it only writes workout summaries when you grant permission.

Analytics & tracking

gainzy contains no analytics SDK, no advertising network, no crash reporting service, and no third-party tracking of any kind. There are no accounts, no logins, and no user identifiers.

Third-party code

gainzy uses one open-source package: MuscleMap (MIT license), which renders anatomical muscle diagrams locally. It makes no network requests and collects no data.

Children

gainzy does not collect any data from any user, including children. The app is rated 4+ on the App Store.
